It is easy making a self referral with Enfield Psychotherapy
Enfield Psychotherapy is a specialist counselling service for people in the local area. The Managing Director is UKCP-accredited psychotherapist, David Kraft, who has been practising for many years. He offers a tailor-made approach to treatment combining elements of psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and counselling. He also uses hypnotherapy where appropriate.
Does the therapy cost?
Yes. This is private practice. Sessions are £100 for 50 minutes. However, David does offer discounts for the military and ex-military, pensioners, the unemployed and for those who are short of cash. The discounted rates are normally £80-£90 per session.
How do I make a referral?
One can refer yourself simply by ringing 0207 467 8564/07946 579645.

Do I have to live in Enfield in order to get treatment?
No. The practice was originally set up to help people get psychological treatment in the local area of Enfield. However, people come from far and wide to seek specialist mental health treatment. The main catchment areas, however, are: Southgate, Haringey, Barnet, Winchmore Hill, Oakwood, Forty Hill, Cheshunt, Edmonton, Palmers Green and Hadley Wood. And, if you live in central London, you are welcome to see David Kraft at his Harley Street clinic. For appointments in town, please phone 0207 467 8564. David also offers home visits.
The rates are too expensive. Can I get a further reduction on fees?
